Servo Controlled Systems

Servo ControlESCO's electronic/hydraulic servo control system directly and continuously measures aircraft location and velocity in order to maintain minimum braking forces during an aircraft arrestment.

The system adjusts energy absorber braking force by reading computer-analyzed information provided by sensors built into the engaging system. This feedback loop covers any aircraft weight and arrestment speed (within absorber energy limits), enabling automatic braking adjustment for variable runout conditions.

The servo control aircraft arresting system is ideal for joint aircraft exercises, composite wing missions and NATO operations. It is available as a new system configuration or as a retrofit upgrade.
